Safety Guidelines

Naviga lets you share your live location with friends and groups. That's genuinely useful — and it can also be misused. These guidelines explain how to use location sharing and messaging responsibly, and what happens if you don't. They are part of our Terms of Service.

Location sharing is your choice, always

- Sharing is "off by default". You choose who to share with, and you can stop sharing with any person or group at any time, instantly, without their approval.

- Only share your location with people you actually trust.

- If someone is pressuring you to share your location, or won't let you stop sharing, that's not acceptable — see "Report a problem" below.

Not allowed on Naviga

- Using location sharing, groups or messages to stalk, monitor or track someone without their ongoing consent.

- Harassment, threats or abuse directed at another user, in messages, groups, or through repeated unwanted contact.

- Sharing someone else's location or personal information without their permission.

- Impersonating another person or creating a fake identity.

- Using Naviga to coordinate or facilitate anything illegal.

Violating these rules can lead to a warning, suspension, or permanent removal from Naviga, depending on severity.

Report a problem

If someone is misusing location sharing, messages or groups, email support[at sign]getnaviga.com with:

- your account email or username,
- the account or group involved, and
- what happened.

We review every report. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first — Naviga is not a safety or emergency service.

Driving safely

Naviga supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto so you can navigate hands-free. Set your destination before you start driving, follow your local traffic laws, and never interact with your phone while the vehicle is moving.
